MEMPHIS, Tennessee (July 2013) – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is preparing to host its annual Autumn Wine Tasting, which will be held October 17, 2013, at Guastavino’s Restaurant in New York. St. Jude’s is inviting all of its staff, families, and supporters to attend, including longtime supporter and New York native Greta Siddiqui. In addition to St. Jude’s, Greta Siddiqui actively supports the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging.
In its 21st year, the 2013 Autumn Wine Tasting will feature a selection of wines from 20 different wineries and vineyards in the area, a sampling of food from 15 area restaurants, hors d’oeuvres, raffles, and a silent auction. There are also various levels of sponsorship opportunities for the event, including a platinum sponsor, event sponsor, and a wineries sponsor. Proceeds from the event benefit the research and treatment provided to children in need at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Founded in 1962 by entertainer Danny Thomas, St. Jude’s has changed the lives of countless children from around the world. For more than half a century, St. Jude’s has provided quality medical care to children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses and conducts research to develop the necessary treatments for these types of diseases.
